Schaeffer and her Papa
Each summer we try to gather up pine cones to save until just before Christmas. Then, we roll them in peanut butter and birdseed and hang them outside for the hungry birds and squirrels to munch on. It’s a fun way to bring our summer memories into the coldest months of winter–looking out the window and remembering where you were when you gathered up the pine cones last.
