One of the things we found most appealing about our new neighborhood was the abundance of ‘mature’ trees. I can’t help but chuckle now–each fall we seem to find ourselves in a state of shock with the quantity of leaves that our trees put down.
It seems to happen overnight–we no longer have visible grass in our yard, but instead leaves inches deep. We hit the yard last night as a family, the first of many evenings to be spent raking–I’m sure, and had great fun.
Schaeffer was in leaf heaven with piles larger than her–loving the great run and jump.
