Peak. Pit. Thankful.

It’s become a sacrosanct nightly tradition in our home: after teeth are brushed and hair combed, but before prayers are said or hugs are given; each family member present must recall the very best and the very worst of their day. We also pause to give thanks–for the blessings & good things that have occurred in those 24 hours–pausing to remember from where all good things come.

With the turn of this calendar year, I’m going to attempt to record each day’s ‘peak, pit and thankful’–both to help remember where we’ve come from–and to give thanks for each victory along the way.

Would you like to join our journey? If so, come along! It’s going to be a wonderful adventure.
